Today’s update features two episodes of Ten Minute Citizen, covering the Select Board meetings of September 28th and October 12th.

At the meeting on September 28th, the Board received an overview of initiatives by the Police Department, then got an earful from Boston Road residents concerned about safety issues left unaddressed in the current plan to rebuild their busy street as the deadline for submitting the plan looms.

The meeting on October 12th featured a presentation by the Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee on Westford’s roadmap to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, a dispute with a resident over process related to the removal of a pair of trees on Hildreth Street, and a discussion of the process for priorizing how federal aid will be spent. The board also granted a handful of Conservation Restrictions and responded to a request to repave the side entrance to Nabnassett School on Polley Road.
