Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s Viking Theatre Company will join thousands of theatrical organizations around the world by producing its own local production of Music Theatre International’s “All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre.”

Music Theatre International created this revue for theaters to use as a local fundraising event performed over the same weekend of Nov. 12-14, 2021.

Nashoba Tech’s performance is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 12.

“All Together Now!” features songs from MTI’s catalog of beloved musicals, including “Annie,” “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Come From Away,” “Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins,” “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Godspell,” “Guys and Dolls,” “Hairspray,” “Into the Woods,” “Les Misérables,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Mamma Mia!,” “Matilda,” “My Fair Lady,” “Once on This Island,” “Rent,” “Waitress” and many more.

The Nashoba Tech production will feature more than 30 performers, including current students, as well as alumni performers and technical crew from former Viking Theatre Company productions over the past 15 years.

Alumni performers and technical crew include Linda (Cummings) Myette and Athena Scarmeas (Class of 2011), Ellice Cunningham and Rebecca Reese (Class of 2013), Russell Byron-Kelly and Alexis Tucker (Class of 2014), Lindsey Callan and Ben Petersen (Class of 2017), Emily Hogan and Olivia Spoth (Class of 2019), and Abigail Bernier and Abigail Poor (Class of 2020).

“We are incredibly excited to celebrate the return of live theater with performances of MTI’s ‘All Together Now!,’” said Emily Smith, Viking Theatre Company director and Nashoba Tech TV Media Production/Theatre Arts instructor. “The past year has been a challenging time for everyone, and we are incredibly excited to welcome our patrons back into the Performing Arts Center for this celebration benefit this fall.”
