[Editor’s note: Life Scout Nicholas Anderson is working toward qualifying for an Eagle Badge — the highest honor among Scouts — by telling the history of Scouting.]
“Hi, My name is Nicholas Anderson and I am a Life Scout of Troop 159. For my Eagle project I am documenting the history of Boy Scouting (now known as Scouts BSA) in Westford for the Westford Museum. My goal is that everyone in town will understand how important scouts is and how scouting has contributed to the town.
I am looking for scouting related artifacts with historical significance or information about scouting in Westford. If you have artifacts you are interested in donating or loaning to the museum, please fill out the google form below.
I am also looking for contacts of people who know and understand the history of scouting in Westford.
Thanks for your help. If you have any questions, you can reach me at westfordscoutinghistory@gmail.com
