The Charlie Brown Christmas Concert is Back at the PCA

“Inside & Out,” an exhibit of paintings by Jill Crossman Anderson, will be at the Parish Center for the Arts through December 30.

This exhibit includes large acrylic-stained canvas landscapes and smaller watercolor or acrylic landscapes and still lifes. The still life paintings are the result of finding “landscapes” close to home, in groceries and neighborhoods.

The Parish Center for the Arts Gallery is open each Sunday from Noon to 2 p.m.

Jerry Bergonzi Quintet: Sat, Dec 11 @ 7:30 pm

Saxophone giant Jerry Bergonzi is known not only as a highly-influential saxophonist, referred to by Michael Brecker as “the best tenor player in the world,” but also as one of the great saxophone and jazz educators of our time, currently teaching at the New England Conservatory of Music. Joining Jerry on stage are renowned musicians Phil Grenadier (trumpet), Lefteris Kordis (piano), Harvie S (bass), and Austin McMahon (drums). General admission is $25PP. Jazz – A Charlie Brown Christmas And More:  Sat, Dec 18 @ 7:30 pm

Multi-talented Aidan Scrimgeour and his trio perform Vince Guaraldi’s soundtrack to “A Charlie Brown Christmas” plus several original compositions. Come out for an evening of holiday cheer and mesmerizing jazz. General Admission is $25PP.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Family Concert, Sun, Dec 19 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Enjoy a compact program of holiday cheer and nostalgia with a live performance of an all-time classic. Kids of all ages are welcome to come and dance along with the music. Multi-talented Aidan Scrimgeour leads a piano trio in a performance of Vince Guaraldi’s Grammy award-winning quadruple-platinum soundtrack to “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Come out for some Sunday afternoon holiday fun!
