Super sophomore Maggie Murphy broke the school Vault record Monday with a 9.7. Previous record holder, WA alum Kiana Brown held the 9.6 record since 2017. Murphy now holds 3 out of the 5 AA records for WA. Westford swept the floor exercises with Murphy in first, Mina Kiefer finishing second and Ellie Cioffi placing third.
Despite Murphy’s historic performance, the Ghosts were edged out by Newton South, 139.7-141.05 and the team is now 2-2 on the young season.
