Representative James Arciero recently recognized Ben Borselli, from Scout Troop 195 of Westford, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest award in Scouting.
To achieve the rank of Eagle, a scout must earn at least 21 merit badges in a number of different areas ranging from government to recreational activities. In addition, Eagle Scout candidates must plan and complete an extensive Eagle Scout project which usually consists of coordinating the materials, manpower, and cooperation of many individuals to achieve the objective of the project.

For his Eagle Scout Project, Ben led a team of Scouts to build a Gaga Ball pit for the students of Blanchard Middle School. The game pit gave the students an activity to do during recess that actively promoted fitness and fun.
