Bike sale, 4-H fair to be held this weekend

WESTFORD — With the warm weather fast approaching, multiple organizations in town are hosting a number of events this weekend.

Scouts hold outdoor gear sale 

Westford Boys and Girls Scout Troop 437 will be hosting its Bike and Spring Sporting Goods Sale on Westford Common. The sale will be held on Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The sale will showcase gently used bicycles, camping equipment and spring sporting equipment. Sporting equipment will include baseball, lacrosse, soccer and tennis gear among others. 
Residents can donate their items, or sell their items and receive 75% of the sale price. Consignment registration fee is $1 per item with a maximum of $5 per household. 
Items can be dropped off at the American Legion Post 437 on Friday, April 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Items can be coordinated for pickup or drop-off by emailing the troop at bikesale@westfordtroop437.us.

4-H holds showcase at Middlesex County Fairgrounds

Middlesex County 4-H is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Middlesex County Fairgrounds. 
4-H, a national youth organization that provides education programs for students, encourages responsibility and community awareness according to the organization’s website. 
4-H will be hosting baby animals, crafts, food and raffle for attendees. Attendees will also have an opportunity to attend presentations from 4-H representatives. 
The event is cash only, with tickets priced at $5 per person or $20 per family.
