Missing the Select Board this week? Catch up with Ten Minute Citizen

The Select Board meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Since last week saw the 5th Tuesday of March, and this week had the first Tuesday of April, the Board has an extra week between meetings. The extra week presents a great opportunity to catch up on the latest developments with Westford’s local government.

At their March 22nd meeting, the Board met with the School Committee to elect an alternate to the Nashoba Tech School Committee. Then, they heard about the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee’s recommendation to replace Columbus Day with Indigenous People’s Day. They also approved the initial stage of a development agreement with a residential developer to construct a multi-family apartment complex.
