On April 12th, the Select Board held a hearing for a third offense of a local liquor store selling to underage customers and closed the store for two weeks as punishment. The Board also approved the Pedestrian Safety Committee’s plan to ask Town Meeting to lower the speed limit on four roads in town. They then received an update on sustainability issues relating to the plan for the new center building at 51 Main Street. After this, they heard the initial recommendations of the Access to Town Meeting Committee to improve attendance at Town Meeting, and finally they closed the warrant for the upcoming Annual Town Meeting.
