WESTFORD – A Westford family is seeking donations for an injured resident.
A resident of Westford for over 28 years, Brian Maher was injured in a car accident on Nov. 27, 2021. According to the family’s GoFundMe page, Maher was stopped in traffic when he was struck from behind, losing feeling in both his legs and arms.
“Over the past 5+ months, Brian has been battling his return home,” wrote the family on GoFundMe.
They continued, “he has made great strides in recovery, but this tragic accident will alter his life forever.”
The family is seeking $25,000 in donations to alleviate expenses and allow Maher to stay home for as long as possible. $12,525 has been raised in support of the family at the time of reporting.
“The expenses incurred throughout this process have been and will remain to be extremely taxing on Brian and his family.”
