Westford held its annual town election on Tuesday, May 3. Voters took to the polls to settle contested races in the Board of Health and the School Committee.
A man was arrested at a basketball game after an incident involving firearm at The Mill Works facility on Sunday, April 30. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Westford Chief of Police Mark Chambers have confirmed that Jose Mow, 34 of Boston was arraigned on Monday, May 1 in Ayer District Court according to a press release from the Middlesex District Attorney’s office.
The Rotary Club of Westford is hosting its Shred Event on Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 160 Littleton Rd. Shredding costs $10 per banker box.
The Roudenbush Community Center is hosting Fresh Start for its “How To Grow Your Own Food” seminar on Thursday, May 5 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets are $10.
Blanchard Middle School will be hosting “The Wall Plays: Tree Plays about Walls” on Friday, May 13 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for $12.

The Robinson School Advisory Council will meet in-person on Wednesday, May 4 at 3:30 p.m.
The J.A. Crisafulli School Advisory Council will meet in-person on Tuesday, May 10 at 4 p.m.
The Finance Committee will meet virtually on Thursday, May 5 at 7 p.m.
The Healthy Westford Committee will meet virtually on Tuesday, May 10 at 6 p.m.
The Housing Authority will meet in-person on Thursday, May 5 at 1 p.m.
The School Committee’s Finance Subcommittee will meet virtually on Thursday, May 5 at 3 p.m.
