National Grid Plan to Remove 44 Trees Trimmed Down to Just 15 & Other Select Board Updates

On May 10th, the Select Board approved a plan from National Grid to trim and remove trees near power lines, among other routine maintenance, which started as a request to remove 44 trees and was trimmed down to only 15 through the efforts of Tree Warden Steve Cronin and several concerned residents. Then the board heard an update from the police department on their recent efforts for community outreach and other initiatives, approved some budget transfers and adjustments, and took positions on Town Meeting warrant articles.
