Come Find Out More About the League of Women Voters of Westford


Are you interested in learning more about the League of Women Voters of Westford? Join the League Wednesday, June 15, at 7:00 p.m. as the organization hosts its annual meeting. The event will be held in person at the Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main Street. The League welcomes the chance to meet in person to review the group’s accomplishments over the past year, choose the League leadership team, and decide on activities for the coming year. The meeting is a great opportunity for its members to influence what community issues the League will focus on and learn more about the organization.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages the informed and active participation of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League is based on the belief that democratic government depends on the informed active participation of its citizens. The League’s goal is to empower citizens to shape better communities.

Membership in the League provides Westford residents an opportunity to learn more about the town, take a continuing and intensive course in government at all levels, and develop leadership skills.
