WESTFORD — Law enforcement officers conducted a training exercise at East Boston Camps this evening.

The Northeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council mountain bike unit is conducting training between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. at East Boston Camps.

The training consists of a “search and rescue mission for a missing person during nighttime hours,” according to a post on social media from the Westford Police Department.

They continued, ”If you see an increased police presence of law enforcement at East Boston Camps this evening, please do not be alarmed as this is only a training session.”

Westford police, as well as other area town officers are involved with the training.
