WESTFORD — Here’s the Sept. 14 edition of Wednesday Whiteboard, where WestfordCAT highlights important dates and events during the week in and around Westford.

News and upcoming events around town 

The Massachusetts State Primary was held on Sept. 6. Democrat ballot results can be found here, while Republican ballot results can be found here.

Westford’s annual Strategic Planning Retreat returns to Kimball Farm on Sept. 8 at 5 p.m. Watch the full retreat below.

Increased water restrictions have taken effect in Westford until further notice.

Important municipal dates

The J.V. Fletcher Library is hosting a showcase for its expansion project on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.

Special Town Meeting will be held on Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 at Westford Academy. The deadline to register to vote is Friday, Oct. 7 at 5 p.m.

Government meetings

The Access to Town Meeting Committee will meet virtually on Sept. 20 at 7 p.m.

The Capital Planning Committee will meet virtually on Sept. 16 at 8:30 a.m.

The Council on Aging will meet on Sept. 21 at 4 p.m.

The Cultural Council will meet virtually on Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.

The Economic Development Committee will meet virtually on Sept. 15 at 8:15 a.m.

The Finance Committee will meet virtually on Sept. 15 at 3 p.m.

The Monuments and Memorials Committee will meet on Sept. 21 at 2 p.m.

The Permanent Town Building Committee will meet virtually on Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m.
