WESTFORD — Nashoba Valley Technical High School held its annual open house on Sunday, where a number of prospective students were able to tour a number of programs.

Prospective students and community members toured the high school’s technical programs and classrooms, as well as meet instructors and learn about extracurricular programs.

The school offers 20 technical programs, including Automotive Collision Repair, Hospitality Management, Marketing and Veterinary Assisting, as well as Media Broadcasting, Engineering Technology, Culinary Arts and Dental Assisting among others.

Each family that attended the open house received a “swag bag” and had the opportunity to participate in raffle drawings.

The school recently received a $2.5 million Skills Capital Grant to upgrade its Electrical Technology and Veterinarian Assisting programs.

The school currently serves students from Ayer, Chelmsford, Groton, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend and Westford. The open house will be hosted at Nashoba Valley Technical High School’s campus at 100 Littleton Rd. on Nov. 6 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
