WESTFORD — A nor’easter is expected to bring heavy rain and wind gusts during Westford’s Friday morning commute.

The National Weather Service is predicting a wintry weather and rain event Thursday night through Friday night. Residents can expect up to two inches of rainfall and wind gusts of up to 37 mph.

Little to no snow accumulation is expected in Westford and along the coast. Up to 10 to 15 inches of wet snow could accumulate in The Berkshires and northern Worcester County across elevations over 1,000 feet.

Friday temperatures are expected to remain above freezing, with a low of 33 degrees and a high of 40 degrees.

Minor wind damage on branches and wires is possible.
