WESTFORD — The Stoneybrook 4-H Saddle Club is in search of winter attire to donate to the Wish Project!
Our club recently had their annual shopping trip to purchase food and other necessary items for the Westford Food Pantry. It was a huge success, as they collected 463 pounds of food to be donated.
In honor of the holiday season, Stoneybrook holds this event every year and spends money that has been raised throughout the previous year.
As a member of the club myself, it is safe to say that this is one of our favorite club activities! Earlier this year we collected pet items for the Lowell Humane Society. As a horse-based 4-H club, we really value supporting animals and their wellbeing.
“I hope to do some new community service activities that we haven’t done in the past. I like how 4-H gets involved in the community and hope we can get more people interested.” says Daniel Delaney, Stoneybrook Saddle Club Community Service Officer.
If you have any jackets, winter boots, or other winter necessities that are in good condition, feel free to bring them to 5 Monadnock Drive in Westford to be donated. We hope everyone stays safe and warm this holiday season.
