The Town of Westford has saved $37,371 towards its premium on it’s Massachusetts Interlocal Insurance Association through participation in training programs that reduce risk across town.

Bob Oliphant of the Westford Historical Society released the 81st episode of his Westford Wardsman podcast, where he shares the weekly Westford news with bonus information of Westford and her residents from over 100 years ago. Listen to the podcast below.

The Annual Town Meeting timeline has been published online.

Government meetings 

The Access to Town Meeting Committee will meet virtually on Jan. 17 at 7 p.m.

The Board of Cemetery Commissioners will meet on Jan. 12 at 8:30 a.m.

The Communications Advisory Committee will meet virtually on Jan. 12 at 10 a.m.

The Conservation Commission will meet on Jan. 11 at 7 p.m.

The Cultural Council will meet virtually on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.

The Finance Committee and Select Board will meet virtually on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.

The Housing Authority will meet on Jan. 12 at 6 p.m.

The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments will meet on Jan. 13 at 9 a.m.

The Recycling Commission will meet on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.

The Scholarship and Grant Committee will meet on Jan. 12 at 3 p.m.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will meet on Jan. 18 at 7 p.m.
