WESTFORD — Tusa, a 14-year-old female Domestic Longhair mix is this week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week.

“She’s an awesome cat, but she has a bit of a kidney issue but that doesn’t seem like much of an issue,” Matthew a volunteer with the Lowell Humane Society told WestfordCAT.

He continued, “She is pretty much a lap cat, she’ll come up and want to sit with you if not on you.”

Tusa would be best in a household without any other pets and an older teenager or an older cat with a similar temperament. A veterinary reference is required to adopt her.

Adoption hours are between Tuesday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 951 Broadway St. in Lowell. The Lowell Humane Society can be reached by phone at 978-452-7781 or by email at info@lowellhumanesociety.org. Watch the full video below.
