WESTFORD — Westford’s coronavirus cases have increased week over week according to data published by the Department of Public Health on Thursday.
Between Jan. 22 and Feb. 4, 35 positive cases have been reported in Westford. In those two weeks, Westford reported 36 positive tests, with 12.72% of 283 tests returning positive.
100,333 total tests have been administered in Westford since the pandemic began.
A total of 5,415 total cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Westford as of Feb. 9. The state has reported over 2 million total cases of COVID-19, reporting 9,575 cases in the last two weeks. 8.4% of the total 129,184 tests administered, or 10,855 tests, have returned positive.
As of Feb. 7, 89 of the 97 intensive care unit beds remain occupied in Northeastern Massachusetts, while 945 of the 970 medical and surgical beds remain occupied in the region.
As of Feb. 2, Middlesex County has reported 2,000 positive cases in the last two week period between Jan. 22 and Feb. 4. 8.17%, or 2,574 of 27,944 total tests returned positive in the county.
In the last two weeks, Middlesex County has reported 49 confirmed and probable deaths, while the state has reported 240 confirmed and probable deaths.
