WESTFORD — Here’s the March 22 edition of Wednesday Whiteboard, where WestfordCAT highlights important dates and events during the week in and around Westford.

News and upcoming events around town

A number of committees have open seats. Apply online.

Westford Climate Action will host its second annual Earth Month in April. The organization’s Earth Day Festival will be held on April 22 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Recycling Commission will host a household hazardous waste collection on April 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Highway Department.

The Recycling Commission will host brush chipping on April 22 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Highway Department.

Government meetings 

The Agricultural Commission will meet on March 23 at 6:30 p.m.

The Board of Water Commissioners will meet on March 22 at 9:00 a.m.

The Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee will meet virtually on March 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The Conservation Commission will meet on March 22 at 7:00 p.m.

The Council on Aging will meet on March 22 at 4 p.m.

The Economic Development Committee will meet virtually on March 24 at 11 a.m.

The J.V. Fletcher Library Board of Trustees will meet virtually with the Permanent Town Building Committee on March 22 at 7 p.m.

The Lowell Regional Transit Authority will meet on March 23 at 1 p.m.

The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments will meet virtually on March 22 at 2 p.m.

The Westford Academy School Council will meet on March 23 at 6 p.m.
