WESTFORD — Lyra, a 10-year-old female Labrador Retriever and Terrier Pitbull mix is this week’s Adoptable Pet of the Week.
“She’s just a love bug,” Emilia, a volunteer with the Lowell Humane Society told WestfordCAT. “She cuddles up, curls up she is old so she does like her slow walks.”
She continued, “she will out of nowhere giddy up for a little run. She is just so sweet.”
She would do well in a home with another dog that is closer to her energy level.
“We wouldn’t recommend putting her in a home with a puppy,” she said.
