WESTFORD — The following release was shared with WestfordCAT from the office of Rep. James Arciero for publication and distribution.
State Representative James Arciero of Westford recently hosted his 15th Annual Westford Senior Cookout to honor the seniors of Westford.
The annual barbecue is held each August to give seniors an opportunity to meet with their state representatives and their staff in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
About 75 seniors and their friends and family attended, as Rep. Arciero and his staff cooked and served hot dogs, hamburgers, salad, and chips, followed by a dessert cake.
This year’s event was held at the Cameron Senior Center on Pleasant Street near Forge Village. In addition to the food, entertainment was offered with Westford trivia hosted by former State Representative Geoffrey Hall, with winners receiving gift items from Kimball’s Ice Cream.
