WESTFORD — Westford Academy will open its doors to more than 200 crafters, artists and small businesses this Saturday as the school hosts its annual Holiday Bazaar.
The Dec. 6 event, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 30 Patten Road, transforms the school hallways and common areas into a bustling craft fair filled with handmade goods, holiday décor, jewelry, artwork and gifts.
The event is organized by the Westford Academy Student Council, which manages vendor applications, coordinates logistics, assigns table locations and oversees operations on the day of the event. Proceeds from the event support school activities, club initiatives and student-led programs throughout the year. Many WA clubs also participate directly by hosting their own tables, selling items such as apparel, stickers, ornaments and small crafts to raise funds for their groups.
For local residents, this long-running community tradition serves as both a seasonal shopping opportunity and a social gathering that kicks off the December holiday period.
In previous years, the Holiday Bazaar has filled nearly every wing of Westford Academy, with crafters lining the gym, cafeteria and main hallways while student volunteers help direct crowds through the building. The event traditionally features a mix of returning artisans and first-time vendors, offering handmade goods. The repeat crowds and festive atmosphere have helped establish the bazaar as one of Westford Academy’s most memorable traditions.
Admission is $2 and open to all ages. Parking is available on site, though attendees are encouraged to arrive early for the best access to the most popular vendors. Organizers also suggest bringing cash.
