The defendant was ordered held on $10,000 bail and ordered not to have any unsupervised contact with anyone under 18, not to use the internet or social media, with the exception of communicating with his attorney and any court appearances that require he be on Zoom, and to check in with probation weekly if he posts bail. The next scheduled date in this case is Feb. 26.Â
Faith Newton, 52, of Westford, and Winnie Waruru, 41, of Lowell, were each indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit health care fraud; one count of health care fraud – aiding and abetting; and one count of conspiracy to pay and receive kickbacks.
