Westford Slammed with a Foot of Snow Following Nor’easter

Meteorologists have reported that the storm was classified as a bomb cyclone, which is caused when air pressure rapidly drops within a short period of time. This is what is said to contribute to the strong winds and heavy blowing snow.

A  few  showers  on  east-facing  coastal  areas  and  the  Cape  today.  It  will  be  windy  today and  tomorrow with more  sun  inland  than  at  the  coast. Sun  and  clouds  the  rest of the  week with highs  around  60 degrees  inland  and  55 degrees in  coastal  areas.
