DESCRIPTION:Enjoy this journey of Connie Diamond singing and telling “Why the Music Matters!” Accompanied by pianist Frank Wilkins and guest saxophonist Jason Macres. \nConnie Diamond has created a show where she talks and sings through history\, using the Great American Songbook as her tool; starting with the 1920’s all the way into the 1950’s. You will be transported into a “time machine” and experience American History through the composers and their music; see how they were influenced by the times and in turn\, created tunes that reflected the strength of a nation and its people\, during the best and worst of these times. \nProceeds from this show will be donated to the PCA\, in memory of Connie’s granddaughter ANNA ASLANIAN.
