SUMMARY:Rewilding Your Story: Writing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:You came into this world with a specific way of seeing\, feeling\, and moving through life that was unmistakably yours. But\, like so many things\, over time\, that way you had was tamed\, thanks to the adults who preferred you smaller and our culture that so often rewards the careful and the safe. \nAnd it’s likely that your writing learned the same lessons: be acceptable\, avoid offending\, don’t say anything too true. \nThis workshop\, led by Westford resident Madeleine Eno\, is an invitation to rewild your story—in other words\, to retrieve the voice that has been tamed. It’s for writers who are working on projects and wanting some juice and flow and for any one curious to access the truth of your voice. \nIn this immersive experience\, we’ll retrieve what’s inside. And there’s so much there. Through writing prompts\, sensory exercises\, poetry\, and the wisdom of the Gene Keys\, we’ll move past the guards that have done their job of protecting you and into the voice that has a lot to say. Together\, we’ll listen for the thread that runs through everything you’ve been\, said\, loved\, lost\, and transformed. \nWhy do this? Because there’s a difference between sharing information and delivering medicine. Information can help. But medicine enters the body and changes something. When you write from your golden thread — your truest frequency — that’s what your words become. \nThis workshop is for anyone who suspects your voice and your writing have been tamed too long\, and is ready to explore what your soul is longing to express. \nHeld at New England Goddess Temple\, Boxboro

SUMMARY:Sugar Kings
DESCRIPTION:Sugar Kings (named after a Cuban baseball team) is a Boston-based quartet known for their dynamic live performances\, rich harmonies\, intense musicianship and ability to transcend genres with an authenticity rarely heard. In their world\, respect is paid to the forefathers of Afro-Cuban Son\, Salsa\, and Rumba-Flamenca. But that’s only part of their story. Sugar Kings also actively draw on influences from nearly every continent in their unique Roots-Rock-Reggae repertoire. All are highly accomplished on their instruments\, however the true magic of Sugar Kings is how these four individuals come together to put on a performance worthy of any festival\, party\, club or concert hall. Every show is an intimate\, spontaneous and joyous dialogue between the band members on stage and their audience. \nCabaret Seating. BYOB & Snacks.

SUMMARY:"You\, Me & Harry" with Lou Antonucci
DESCRIPTION:Harry Chapin was so much more than just a songwriter. A storyteller\, filmmaker\, off-Broadway playwright\, and even more importantly\, a philanthropist. Most people will say that Harry Chapin wrote ‘attitude’ songs\, but what Harry really did was write about the situations that caused the attitide. It is these everyday relatable situations that come to life in his story-songs that have endeared his many fans to him over the years. Lou Antonucci’s “You\, Me\, & Harry” is an intimate and engaging interpretation of Chapin’s storytelling. Coupled with backstories and little known anecdotes\, this solo stage performance captures the audience from the get-go\, and doesn’t loosen its grasp until the final note – which is usually a note everyone is singing! All of the fan favorites are there – “Taxi\,” “Cat’s in the Cradle\,” “WOLD\,” “Mr. Tanner\,” “Corey’s Coming\,” “Sequel\,” “If Mary Were Here\,” “Flowers are Red\,” and so many more! Harry Chapin fan or not\, you won’t want to miss this show! \nCabaret Seating. BYOB & Snacks.

SUMMARY:Elliot Steger Jazz Trio
DESCRIPTION:Elliot Steger started playing piano as soon as he could sit on the piano bench. He started formal classical lessons at age 4 and continued from that point forward. When it was time to decide whether to pursue a career in music or in the sciences\, his thought was that he could always play music\, so he chose a “day job as a physician. Fast forward to about 30\, and Steger began 20 years of lessons from a Berklee College of Music professor. He started composing and performing more\, and is now credited with multiple CDs\, over 100 song compositions\, and was even a finalist in a competition among over 100\,000 songs for best jazz instrumental song of the year. Steger was featured artist on jazz radio WICN’s Jazz New England program and has played at many venues in the Boston area. \nJoining Steger as the other 2/3rds of his Trio are John Hazilla (drums) and Dave Landoni (bass). \nCabaret Seating. SUMMARY:Farmhouse Oatmilk Soap Making at Good Pickin' Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join Claudia from Jurassic Soap Co at Good Pickin’ Farm for a hands-on soapmaking workshop where you’ll create your own natural oat milk soap from start to finish—and take it home the same day. \nThis workshop focuses on the hot process method\, allowing you to experience soapmaking in real time while learning how it compares to other methods. You’ll gain a clear understanding of saponification\, the chemical process that transforms simple ingredients into soap\, and why specific oils\, butters\, and oat milk are used to create a high-quality final product. \nEach participant will customize their own batch by selecting fragrance and color\, with the option to bring botanicals like dried flowers or herbs to incorporate into their soap. \nYou’ll leave with 16 oz of soap (approximately 4-6 bars)\, which can be cut after 24 hours! \nThis is a small-group workshop designed to provide individual guidance throughout the process. \nParticipants must be age 12+ with an adult. Both youth and adult attendees must have their own ticket. Due to safety and space limitations\, only registered participants are permitted in the workshop area. \nBYOB is welcome \nhttps://good-pickin-farm.jumbula.com/Farmhouse20262027/FarmhouseSoapmakingwithJurassicSoapCo
