DESCRIPTION:The Westford Women’s Club is seeing gold this year as its members anticipate the club’s approaching 50th anniversary in April. A Celebration Banquet is planned. \nWHEN: Tuesday\, April 14\, 2026\nWHERE: Il Forno Restaurant\, Littleton\, MA\nWHAT: Anniversary celebration to honor club history and Installation of 2026-2027 officers\nWHO: The Westford Women’s Club has been serving Westford and its surrounding communities for 50 years. Many early members were new residents and young mothers seeking community and connection. The club earned recognition from GFWC Massachusetts for its contributions\, including nursing home luncheons\, school book fairs\, and creating the Historic Tour of Westford for 3rd graders. Its long-running “Breakfast With Santa” fundraiser supported scholarships at Westford Academy and Nashoba Tech. Members also volunteered at the Town Health Fair\, local blood drives\, and the Strawberry Festival.\nIn 1995 the club became the Westford Women’s Club\, ending questions about age limits and broadening membership.

DESCRIPTION:Back for another year\, Don White is equal parts storyteller-comedian-author-troubadour-folk singer-songwriter. He has been bringing audiences to laughter and tears for 30 years. White’s arc as an award-winning songwriter and performer has taken him from his industrial hometown of Lynn (MA) across the country as hitchhiker\, through Boston’s comedy clubs and coffeehouses\, and onto the stage with greats like Arlo Guthrie\, Taj Mahal\, Ritchie Havens\, Patty Larkin\, Bill Morrissey\, Tom Rush\, Louden Wainright III\, and Christine Lavin\, with whom he toured for 8 years all across North America in a co-bill called ‘The Funny Side of the Street.’ At every point\, White has been the ultimate observer\, infusing his work with his experiences as a husband\, a father\, a seeker\, and a joker. \nCabaret Seating. SUMMARY:Film Lab
DESCRIPTION:WestfordCAT Film Lab is an exciting hands-on program designed to introduce middle school age students to the art of filmmaking during school vacation weeks. \nOver four action-packed days\, young creators will explore every aspect of video production—from brainstorming creative concepts and writing scripts to operating professional cameras\, directing scenes\, and editing their final projects using industry-standard software. \nWhether students are picking up a camera for the first time or building on existing skills\, our supportive environment encourages experimentation\, collaboration\, and creative expression. \nThe program culminates in a showcase where participants share their completed short films with family and friends\, celebrating their journey from initial idea to finished production. \nIt’s the perfect opportunity for aspiring filmmakers to discover their storytelling voice and develop technical skills that will serve them for years to come.

SUMMARY:Hurricane Helene's Deadly Warning - Film Screening & Discussion
DESCRIPTION:Westford Climate Action and Westford’s Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee are sponsoring a special free screening of PBS’s Frontline documentary\, “Hurricane Helene’s Dangerous Warning.” It will be shown on Wednesday\, April 22\, Earth Day\, at 7: 30 p.m. at the First Parish Church United\, Main Street\, Westford. \nAfter the film\, Mike Berlinski\, Chair of Westford’s Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee\, will lead a discussion of what Westford is doing to address global warming and what we can do to help. Hurricane Helene was a wake-up call. It ripped across six states in September 2024 with 250 fatalities\, the highest total in North Carolina. Join us this Earth Day for a compelling look at why the U.S. is increasingly vulnerable to climate-related storms. \nDrawing on a decade of reporting from PBS Frontline and NPR\, this film explores the challenges we face in an era of intensifying weather issues. Donations will be gratefully accepted. Refreshments will be served.

SUMMARY:Cliff Eberhardt
DESCRIPTION:Cliff Eberhardt knew by age seven that he was going to be a singer and songwriter. Growing up in Berwyn (PA)\, he and his brothers sang together and their parents played instruments. His dad introduced him to the guitar and he quickly taught himself to play. Fortunate enough to live close to the Main Point (one of the best folk clubs on the East Coast)\, he cut his teeth listening to the likes of James Taylor\, Joni Mitchell\, Bruce Springsteen\, Howlin’ Wolf\, Muddy Waters\, Bonnie Raitt\, and Mississippi John Hurt — receiving an early and impressive tutorial in acoustic music. At the same time\, he was also listening to great pop songwriters like Cole Porter\, the Gershwins\, and Rodgers and Hart\, which explain his penchant for great melodies and clever lyrical twists. After a successful whirlwind of a career in the industry\, in 2021\, Cliff released “Knew Things” – a new album of original songs which reached #4 on the Folk Alliance International’s Folk Radio Chart. Touring constantly\, Cliff is well-known as a songwriting teacher all over the U.S. at songwriting camps and private lessons. He also produces\, arranges and advises on other artist’s recordings. Learn more about Cliff online at cliffeberhardt.net. \nCabaret Seating. BYOB & Snacks. \nThe PCA Coffeehouse Series is generously sponsored by Rockland Trust.
