SUMMARY:6/7-8/25: Cheryl Wheeler with Special Guest Kenny White
DESCRIPTION:Nothing you read and nothing you hear from her albums prepares you for how good a performer Cheryl Wheeler is. She is very respected as a songwriter by her peers\, which can be seen by how many of them cover and record her songs… Dan Seals\, Peter Paul and Mary\, Kenny Loggins\, Garth Brooks\, Suzy Boggus\, Melanie\, Bette Midler\, Maura O’Connell\, Sylvia\, Kathy Mattea\, and Holly Near. If they think she is great\, then you owe it to yourself to learn more if you aren’t familiar with her! Cheryl’s songs are often emotional portraits of people\, leaving you with the impression that you know the characters. You find yourself being dragged into the song rather than standing outside and observing. Other songs are hilarious situation comedies. Cheryl’s concerts are more like what you would find at a comedy club than expect to find at a folk music concert. She will tell a story that has you rolling in the aisles\, and then sing a song that leaves you wiping tears from your eyes. She will talk about some serious current event\, and then sing a song that will have you howling with laughter. Her concerts an emotional roller coaster… but not scary… and without the nausea. \nHailed by reviewers from the New York Times to the San Francisco Chronicle for his “thrilling” and “unique” piano playing\, KENNY WHITE is a talented singer-songwriter and a successful NYC-based record producer. He has written\, performed\, and produced music for hundreds of TV and radio commercials as well as film soundtracks\, and has toured with stars like Judy Collins\, Stephen Stills and Tom Jones\, among others. \nThis is a special 2-day PCA event not to be missed! June 7\, 2025 at 7:30pm; June 8\, 2025 at 3pm. BYOB & snacks. Cabaret seating (that you really should purchase in advance… trust us!) \nSponsored by Alan Bell\, AAMS\, Edward Jones/Littleton\, MA

SUMMARY:Vintage Vocal Quartet
DESCRIPTION:The Vintage Vocal Quartet\, founded by David Thorne Scott\, is coming to fill your ears and your heart with the sweet swinging harmonies of the Swing Era\, when jazz music and pop music were one and the same. It was a time when every radio blared out music that was danceable yet sophisticated. The Quartet sings while playing piano\, guitar\, bass and trombone/drums. They are dialed in to the sound of groups like Glenn Miller’s Modernaires\, the Nat King Cole Trio\, the Andrews Sisters\, and Tommy Dorsey’s Pied Pipers; as well as singers like Bing Crosby\, Frank Sinatra\, and Ella Fitzgerald. The Vintage Vocal Quartet has been delighting concert audiences and lindy hoppers all over New England. \nCabaret Seating. BYOB & Snacks. Dancing in the Gallery.

SUMMARY:Mike Payette's Three-Hour Tour
DESCRIPTION:Soft yacht rock music with 70s-80s smooth vibes\, great songs and tight harmonies – think Michael McDonald\, Doobie Brothers\, Christopher Cross\, Kenny Loggins\, Toto\, Steely Dan\, Ambrosia and more. This project came to life when Mike Payette was subbing for a musician in the band No Static (a Steely Dan tribute band). DESCRIPTION:Enjoy this journey of Connie Diamond singing and telling “Why the Music Matters!” Accompanied by pianist Frank Wilkins and guest saxophonist Jason Macres. \nConnie Diamond has created a show where she talks and sings through history\, using the Great American Songbook as her tool; starting with the 1920’s all the way into the 1950’s.
