A home on Forge Village Road in Westford was evacuated on Friday, after a fire broke out inside, prompting firefighters and police to shut down the road.
Winter storm watch issued, heavy snow possible Sunday into Monday
The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a winter storm watch for Middlesex County, including Westford, effective from 7 a.m. on Jan. 25 through 7 p.m. on Jan. 26. Forecasters say heavy snow is possible, with projected accumulations ranging from 12 to 24 inches.
