Brenden Smith, a freshman from Westford, worked with other members of the Horticulture Club at Nashoba Valley Technical High School at Chelmsford Veterans Memorial Park on North Road.

For the 10th year, the Westford school volunteered to spruce up the park in time for Memorial Day. The crew planted annuals, spread mulch and cleaned the park.
