In a release issued early on Friday morning, the Westford Board of Health announced that both of Westford’s Market Basket stores are in full compliance with all state and federal food safety codes.
For the past several weeks at the Cornerstone and Littleton Road stores, non-perishable items were still in stock, but most vegetables and meat products were gone quickly, with a limited supply of dairy products.
An inspection was made on Thursday, in addition to several checks during the dispute, according to the release.
The Market Basket protests ended on Thursday morning with the announcement that Arthur T. Demoulas would return as CEO of the chain, with both Westford stores slowly coming back to normal later in the morning.
