Middlesex Country Sheriff Peter Koutoujian and state Rep. James Arciero helped serve homeless veterans at this year’s annual Veterans Thanksgiving Luncheon at Nashoba Valley Technical High School. Serving a group of veterans (pictured), are, standing from left, Koutoujian, juniors Crystal Perkins (Westford), Sean Defreitas (Pepperell), Kylee Larosae (Pepperell), Meghan Bourassa (Shirley) and Michaela Casey (Pepperell), and Arciero of Westford. The dinner is a Thanksgiving tradition for 14 years now, started by Chef-Instructor Steve Whiting, who invites veterans and staff members from local veterans housing groups affiliated with the Veterans Administration. The meal consisted of a traditional Thanksgiving feast of turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, squash, peas, beverage, coffee and pie for dessert, all prepared, cooked and served by students in Culinary Arts and Hotel & Restaurant Management.
