February Vacation Art Workshop – for Grades 2 to 5.  All projects during this 3 day workshop with Melisa Keyes will be fine art related with emphasis on drawing and painting skills, 3 dimensional art, and exploration of a variety of materials.  We will tap into the imagination, while children practice specific art concepts and techniques.  Feb. 17 thru 19, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  $132/$129

Let’s Get Cookin’ (Ages 4 to 7) – In 4 days we will create an entire event.  Not only will we prepare the food but we will plan the party.  Everything from the theme, to the decorations to the food to drink.  Our 1st class will be our event planning day; we will choose a theme, plan a menu and decide on decorations.  Each class from there will lead up to our Friday event.  $10 material fee to instructor at class.  Tuesday thru Friday, Feb. 16 to 19, 12:00 to 1:15 p.m.

Co-Ed Adult Pick Up Basketball – Play basketball in a fun, friendly environment this winter in the Roudy Gym.  Thursdays thru June 9.  8:30 to 10 p.m.  $100/$103

Children’s Art Classes with Mary Jane Brunelle – Grades K thru 7, Mondays thru Thursdays 4:15 to 5:30 p.m.  All levels, ages.  Explore colored pencils, brush and ink, clay, paints, and watercolor markers in these fun art classes.  Learn to draw animals, people, buildings, and other assorted subjects while learning several drawing and painting techniques.  Bring a smock or large shirt. Watercolor Painting for Adults (all levels) – Through demos and exercises, you will explore wet on wet, dry brush, washes, the color wheel, color mixing, dropping in colors, texture, shadows, negative painting and more.  Sessions include New England Harbors, Lighthouses, Rocks and Waves Tuesdays, thru April 12, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.  $124/$121 per session.  See website for more descriptions.

Introduction to Cold Process Soap Making – Cold process soaps are created by blending oils with a lye mixture.  Students will learn the equipment needed, safety, recipes, instruction on ingredients, and coloring.  Students will make a 1 pound batch of soap and ho home with comprehensive handouts.  $63/$60.  $20 material fee to instructor at class.  Tuesday, Feb. 9, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Sweets for Your Sweetheart – Nothing says I love you more than giving of yourself, so join in and create the most decadent sweets for your valentine!   While you indulge in these sweet treats, we will also learn how to creatively wrap our desserts.  $32/$2,  $3 fee to instructor at class.  Wednesday, Feb. 10, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Bridge for Beginners, Part 1 – If you have ever thought about learning bridge, or have learned the rules of the game but have limited playing experience, we will balance instruction with an opportunity to play the game under experienced supervision.  $108/$105, Fridays, Feb. 5 to Mar. 18, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Doggone Fun Games – With Lisa Bert of Fingers and Paws Dog Training.  Test your training progress with these engaging group games.  Each game is designed to test one or more skills in a seriously fun way, providing feedback to the owner about what is working and where to concentrate future training efforts.  Thursday, Feb. 18, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  $33/$30

Saturday Kids Learn to Sew Group (Ages 6+) – A creative, fun and sociable way for children to spend Saturday afternoons.  We provide everything your child needs to learn to sew including use of brand new machines, and all tools and notions.  Bring your fabric to first class.  See web site for more info on details and directions to Create!
