Indoor Snowball Fight and Minute to Win It Competition: Tuesday, February 16 at 2 p.m. Teens and Tweens are invited to join our indoor snowball fight at the J. V. Fletcher Library! Enjoy the fun without the frostbite at this FREE wintry event! Additional activities include a variety of minute-to-win-it contests and prizes will be awarded. This event will be held in the Meeting Room. Registration is required.
Tiny Treats Food Competition: Wednesday, February 17 at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 17 at 11:30 AM. Calling all teen and tween chefs! Showcase your culinary skills. Teens & Tweens in grades 5 to 12 will work together in groups of two or three and create tiny treats from teeny tiny food items provided by the Library. Prizes will be awarded for the best tiny treats and best effort overall. No food experience necessary, just come and be creative and have a ton of fun. Registration is required for this FREE event.
Teens and Tweens Make & Take Monday “Penguins”: Monday, February 22 at 3:30 p.m. What do you know about penguins? Learn some facts about penguins then sew a plush penguin and create a miniature sugar cube igloo home. All materials will be provided at the program in the Library’s Meeting Room. This is a drop-in event, registration is not required.
Teens and Tweens Make & Take Monday “Sharpie Art”: Monday, February 29 at 3:30 p.m. Budding artists join us and decorate all sorts of 3D objects with sharpie pens at our sharpie art workshop. All materials will be provided at the program in the Library’s Meeting Room. This is a drop-in event, registration is not required.
