On Thursday, August 1st at 4:00 p.m., the Town of Westford is providing the public an opportunity to learn more about the town’s stormwater infrastructure, how it works, what the town does for maintenance and what needs to be done to stay in compliance with EPA and DEP regulations. Westford Town Engineer Paul Starratt will lead a hands on tour along with Town Treasurer Christine Collins who will address the financial components of stormwater management. “We can roll out the street sweeper and catch basin cleaning truck and open up some structures right here on the property”, said Starratt. WestfordCAT will be recording the workshop and making it available online later in August.
The event will take place at the Westford Highway Facility located at 28 North Street in Westford and is open to the public.
