Brothers Lucky and Remy are two 8 month old rats looking for a new home together. Surrendered to the Lowell Humane Society because the child in their previous home found it too difficult to care for them, these two affectionate and active boys would do best in a home where they could safely roam and explore.

“They are very playful and love to be together”, said the shelter’s Development Manager, Lindsey Ardella. “When they are in their little area, you see them running around their wheels or see them snuggling together under their little pillow cases or blankets. They are really sweet rats and are going to make the perfect pets for someone.”

Both Lucky and Remy are litter box trained.

Lucky and Remy are available now for adoption through the Lowell Humane Society at 951 Broadway Street in Lowell. The shelter is open from 12:00pm to 4:00pm Tuesday through Sunday. Call 978-452-7781 for more information.
