Virtual Jazzin’ the Holiday Blues: Thu., Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. : Join us for an exclusive live Zoom concert with Paul Speidel! He’ll share some of the best-known numbers of the holiday season featuring his unique jazz and blues stylings, along with other favorites in the genre. VIRTUAL story time -The Nutcracker with the Dream Ballet School: Wed, Dec 8 at 10:30 a.m. In this interactive program, Emily Gilstrap of the Dream Ballet School presents a virtual adventure that brings the timeless story of The Nutcracker to life through music and dance. Virtual Felted Hedgehog Class: Thu., Dec. 9 at 7 p.m.: Learn how to needle felt wool with a virtual class from Pop Up Art School. Use a barbed needle and merino wool roving to create a felted hedgehog. Makes a cute present! This beginner’s class is limited to 15 people. Materials kits provided in advance; please provide your own scissors. Register through the Library Events Calendar to get the Zoom link, and you’ll be notified when your kit is ready for pickup. Snap Circuits for Grades 3-5: Fri., Dec. 10 at 3:30 p.m.in the Meeting Room. Explore and play with our Snap Circuits kits and make connections that whir, spin, light up, move, and buzz!
