WESTFORD — WestfordCAT is delighted to spotlight four Westford Academy Capstone students who are working with staff until gradation in June.
Jake Shaw is spending his final month at Westford Academy on his capstone project, where he is working with Video Systems Engineer Steve Edwards to hone his editing and video production skills.
He will be attending Columbia College in Chicago this fall, where he plans to study film and television production, where he eventually hopes to write and produce his own films.
“I thought this [WestfordCAT] would be a good step,” Shaw told WestfordCAT. “I wanted to learn more about that.”
He continued, “I got to direct my first scene and it was really exciting. I learned how to direct my actors in a way to fit the story.”
Shaw will be graduating from Westford Academy on Friday, June 3 at 5:30 p.m.
