Westford Fire Department battles blaze on North Main Street

WESTFORD — Firefighters battled a large blaze on North Main Street on Sunday afternoon.

The fire impacted residents at 62-68 North Main Street, with much of the rear section of the building burned.

Littleton, Tyngsborough, Ayer, Groton and the Department of Fire Services were on scene to assist Westford Fire Department.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Sections of North Main Street between West Street and Bridge Street remain closed to traffic. Residents of Indian Ridge Terrace can still access their road.

Officials are requesting residents to avoid the area until further notice. Westford Social Service resources can be found here.
