WESTFORD — The following release was shared with WestfordCAT from the office of Rep. James Arciero for publication and distribution.
State Representative James Arciero recently honored Westford Academy sophomore Ben Fluet at the State House Hall of Flags during the 76th annual Massachusetts Student Government Day.
The Massachusetts 76th Annual Student Government Day is sponsored by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and provides an opportunity for students across the state to participate in, and witness, the governmental and legislative process on Beacon Hill. Joining Mr. Fluet for the day-long session was Westford Academy government and civics teacher, Heather Carney.
“It was an absolute pleasure to host Ben and Westford Academy government and civics teacher Heather Carney for the annual Student Government Day event at the Massachusetts State House,” Rep. Arciero said. “Ben is an engaged, well-rounded student who is passionate about government and its active role in helping society. I wish him the best in his studies and future endeavors.”
