WESTFORD — The following release was submitted by Nashoba Tech for publication and distribution.

Natalia Jaramillo of Westford has been selected as a Nashoba Valley Technical High School Athlete of the Month for February.

Natalia, daughter of Jesse and Juana Jaramillo of Westford, is a junior wrestler who this past season finished third at the Division 3 Girls State Wrestling Tournament, fourth at the All-State Tournament and fifth in New England, all in the 126-pound weight class. She is an honor-roll student in the Cosmetology program and plans to attend college after graduation.

Natalia was nominated by wrestling coach Larry Bavis, who wrote: “Nat has shown a ton of adversity this wrestling season. Despite dealing with a hurt shoulder that needed a brace all year, Nat was able to place in the D3 State tournament, the All-State tournament and New England, where she represented Nashoba Tech with pride and great sportsmanship.”
