WESTFORD – Elizabeth Mary Sheridan, born on May 15, 1931, peacefully passed away on Saturday, January 18th at the age of 93. Elizabeth lived a remarkable life filled with love, compassion and an unwavering faith. She was fiercely independent, navigating life’s challenges with strength and resilience.

Born in Manhattan, NY Elizabeth was the daughter of Elizabeth and William Wolff. She grew up in a loving household that instilled in her the values of kindness and hard work. Elizabeth graduated from Cathedral High School in Manhattan, NY in 1949. After graduating Elizabeth pursued a career as an administration assistant.

Throughout her life, Elizabeth was known for her warm smile and generous heart. She was a devoted wife, a loving sister, a nurturing mother and a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Elizabeth is survived by her sister, Frances Sailor; her daughter, Margaret and husband Walter Gauthier; her daughter, Mary and husband Robert McCusker and her son, William and wife Kristen Sheridan. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Michelle, Philip, Andrew, Amanda, Patrick, Jacob and Emma, along with her great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Rowan, who completed her family. They will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Wolff, her husband, Patrick J. Sheridan and her son, Patrick.

Elizabeth found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion was always her family. The greatest moments were shared times for family meals, holidays and special family events.

Elizabeth Mary Sheridan will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her love, wisdom and the light she brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in peace.
