I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the entire Westford community, and especially to the dedicated educators at Westford Academy, for their support and collaboration throughout my 30-year career as a coach, teacher, and administrator.
To the parents and caregivers of Westford, thank you for always standing behind the schools and the work we do to support students. Your partnership has been an essential part of what makes Westford Academy a special place to learn and grow.
In 2023, I made the decision to transition to Newburyport High School, not to retire, but to make a lifestyle change. After serving as a principal for 16 years, I stepped into a new role as the Dean of Students in Newburyport. It has been a refreshing and rewarding shift, allowing me to stay connected to students and school life in a different way.
The greatest reward of being an educator is the impact you can have on the lives of children. I feel deeply fulfilled and honored to have worked with thousands of students over the course of my career. Their energy, challenges, and successes have shaped me as much as I hope I have helped shape them.
As I enter my 32nd year in education, with retirement now on the horizon, I remain grateful for every step of this journey and especially for the years spent in Westford at Westford Academy.
