WESTFORD — No injuries were reported after a house fire broke out at a home on Forge Village Road on Friday.
Around 4:30 p.m., the Westford Fire and Police Department responded to a call reporting that there was fire in the home’s bathroom that had spread to the attic.
Firefighters quickly responded to the scene, attaching fire hoses to nearby hydrants and spraying water to battle the flames.

Meanwhile, officers shut down Forge Village Road between Patten Road and Cold Spring Road, redirecting traffic around the closure and urging residents to seek alternate routes.
Around 5 p.m., firefighters and officers at the scene told WestfordCAT the fire had been mostly extinguished, confirming that nobody was injured and all residents of the home had evacuated and were accounted for.
Forge Village Road remained shut down for nearly two hours until it was reopened shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.
It is not yet clear what caused the fire, which remains under investigation.
