WESTFORD – Nashoba Valley Technical High School has selected Riley Morello of Westford as a Student of the Month for December, based on the school’s “Portrait of a Graduate” attributes: resourceful, responsible, resilient, respectful and ready.
Riley, daughter of Chris and Sandra Morello, is a junior who studies Veterinary Science. She plans to continue working with animals after graduation.
Riley was nominated by Veterinary Science instructor Brenna Tomaino, who wrote: “Riley is a pleasure to have in class, but I want to recognize her conduct, empathy, leadership skills and kindness. Riley is always trying her best to keep a positive attitude not only for herself, but in the shop as a whole. I have witnessed Riley taking freshmen under her wing and also making a point to include the more shy students in her groups. These skills are not only essential in the veterinary field, but also as skills of life moving forward.”
