There’s a pleasant surprise at the Abbot School – a story walk to honor National Read Across America Day. Also known as Dr. Seuss Day, this initiative was created by the National Education Association to encourage reading in children and is fostered through schools nationwide.
ADOPTABLE PET: Friendly Piplup Can Come Home to You and Your Guinea Pigs or With His “Pokemon” Cohorts
Friendly, 2 month old guinea pig, Piplup is one of many pigs who were surrendered to the Lowell Humane Society recently. Because guinea pigs are very social creatures, Piplup would need to be adopted into a home with other guinea pigs or with his “Pokemon” inspired enclosure mates, Psyduck and Ditto.
