Action for ALS Youth Awarness Workshop

The Action for ALS Youth Awareness Workshop is a student-led community event designed to help younger students learn about ALS in an age-appropriate, respectful, and engaging way.
Through hands-on activities, crafts, simple science demonstrations, movement games, and guided conversations, participants will explore what ALS is, how it affects people, and why empathy and community support are so important. The workshop focuses on kindness, inclusion, and understanding rather than medical complexity, making it accessible and meaningful for children of all learning abilities.
Snacks and goody bags will be provided to make the experience fun, comfortable, and memorable.
This event will be led and supervised by trained high school students with adult support to ensure a safe and positive environment. It is open to elementary school students in the Westford area and will take place on December 13th from 3:00–5:00 PM at the Roudenbush Community Center.
Please note: Parents and guardians will receive follow-up details after registration.
Reminder – this event is completely free of cost!
